Ongoing Recovery
As expected, the recovery process is taking some time. The kidney is working well, but Teresa’s and Noe’s bodies are still adjusting. Teresa is still experiencing pain, but it’s not too severe. Recovery and Return

Recovery Day 1
Teresa and Noe are doing well, but are exhausted. Noe is staying another day in the hospital so that they can monitor her blood pressure. We will provide another update tomorrow. – DTG
The Surgery
After many long hours, the kidney transplant surgery has been completed successfully! Everything went well, with no unexpected complications. Teresa and Noe are both out of surgery and beginning their recovery processes. More updates to come. – DTG
Update 9/21/17
The third dialysis treatment went very well! Teresa’s numbers are in a very good place, and everything is a go for the kidney transplant surgery! The surgery will take place early tomorrow morning. We will be providing updates throughout the day. – DTG
Update 9/20/17
The CAT scan took place late last night, and came back clear! The second round of Dialysis was slightly longer than the first, but it went smoother. More updates to come! – DTG
First Dialysis Treatment
Teresa has finished her first round of dialysis. Other than feeling a bit light headed and experiencing a drop in blood pressure, the dialysis went smoothly! She has a CAT scan scheduled for tonight, but after that there are just a few more dialysis treatments each day. We will keep you all updated! – DTG
