As expected, the recovery process is taking some time. The kidney is working well, but Teresa’s and Noe’s bodies are still adjusting. Teresa is still experiencing pain, but it’s not too severe. It should gradually subside in the coming days to weeks.
The good news is that due to the excellent functioning of the kidney, the number of anti rejection medications Teresa is taking is going to decrease. She still will be on quite a few overall though for the foreseeable future.
