Here we are, five grateful years later. Noe’s donated kidney was a success, and enabled an immediate improvement in the life, comfort, and joy of Teresa. We are all so very thankful for the donation of such a life saving and life changing organ.
Unfortunately a rare viral infection severely damaged Teresa’s kidney function for a second time. The damage is enough that she has transitioned to a daily dialysis routine. While this can be sustained for a short time, she needs another kidney transplant to live a longer and fuller life.

Praying a new kidney for Teresa will be found very soon. I am saddened that Teresa must go through this again in order to live. She is the dearest friend anyone could ever have. I wish I had Type O blood and were 10 years younger–there would be no question.
