The day has arrived!
Teresa has admitted herself to the University of Maryland Medical Center to begin the process to get ready to accept a kidney. She has finished the first procedure and is doing very well!
She will be moving around a bit today and will begin the first dialysis treatment this afternoon. We will provide another update after the dialysis and will continue to provide updates throughout the week.
